African market's enthusiasm for EPS sandwich panels
On May 28, 2025, two professional architects from Nigeria, Pascal and Peter, were invited to visit the Guiyang production base of Theo Group.
We tested the fireproof, moisture-proof, sound-proof and earthquake-resistant properties of EPS sandwich wall panels for them. The experiment showed that EPS sandwich wall panels can withstand high temperatures of 1500℃ for more than 4 hours. The EPS wall itself does not absorb water, and moisture does not penetrate the EPS sandwich wall. The sound insulation effect is good. The 6cm EPS sandwich wall panel can soundproof 45 decibels. After the test, the customer visited and learned about our EPS sandwich wall panel model house. The whole building is built with EPS lightweight wall panels and light steel keels, with fast construction speed and good overall effect. The two architects immediately asked for relevant technical information, and our engineers answered one by one.
Afterwards, the customer entered the workshop to inspect the production equipment on site. Our engineers accompanied him and answered relevant questions. This exchange allowed us to see the huge potential of EPS sandwich wall panels in the African market. The two parties reached a consensus to jointly develop affordable housing for the African market for mutual benefit.
